Join us for a two-day onsite training to explore how destinations can apply the Green Destinations (GD) Standard to build a more sustainable, responsible, and resilient tourism future. Held just before the Green Destinations 2025 Conference, this hands-on training is designed for tourism professionals, local authorities, and aspiring sustainability leaders. This two-day training offers a comprehensive introduction to the Green Destinations Standard and its practical application in real-world destination management. Participants will explore the Standard’s six core themes—ranging from destination management and environmental protection to cultural heritage and community well-being—and learn how to apply its criteria to assess and improve sustainability performance.  Through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, you will gain experience using practical tools to evaluate tourism impacts, set priorities, and design actionable sustainability plans tailored to your destination. The training also provides guidance on how to engage with the Green Destinations Awards & Certification program as a structured pathway for continuous improvement and international recognition.
